[vc_row][vc_column][vc_custom_heading source=”post_title” font_container=”tag:h1|text_align:left” google_fonts=”font_family:Lato%3A100%2C100italic%2C300%2C300italic%2Cregular%2Citalic%2C700%2C700italic%2C900%2C900italic|font_style:400%20regular%3A400%3Anormal”][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Alan Marty<\/strong> was born in November 1993, in Burgundy.<\/span><\/span> After studying in Hypokh\u00e2gne and Kh\u00e2gne, he turned towards practical training around images.<\/span><\/span> First attracted by moving images, he joined a Parisian film school.<\/span><\/span> His filmmaking practice displays numerous photographic influences.<\/span><\/span> It was when he began writing a screenplay that he developed his own photographic practice, first to nourish his writing and then, at the same time, independently.<\/span><\/span> His photos, with an intimate aesthetic, show boys at a pivotal age, in a masculine version of the woman-child.<\/span><\/span> Encouraged by the moving image, and motivated by documentary research, his shots reflect a desire for spontaneity, and a taste for \u201con the spot\u201d.<\/span><\/span> So, in the majority of his series, the photographer works with natural light, to leave room for realism.<\/span><\/span> His work has been published in Vanity Teen, Modern Weekly China and FuckingYoung!.<\/span><\/span> He has signed several campaigns for the Roger Vivier brand as well as shoots for various brands.<\/span><\/span><\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_custom_heading text=”\u00ab Les Grandes Vacances \u00bb” font_container=”tag:h4|text_align:left” google_fonts=”font_family:Lato%3A100%2C100italic%2C300%2C300italic%2Cregular%2Citalic%2C700%2C700italic%2C900%2C900italic|font_style:400%20regular%3A400%3Anormal”][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

Les Grandes Vacances<\/em> is a series designed as a photographic collection that explores and celebrates childhood, adolescence and the sweet memories attached to these periods of life.<\/span><\/span> Capturing spontaneous moments of youthful and authentic happiness, photographer Alan Marty seeks to transcribe the innocence and joy present in the photo albums that sit on family shelves.<\/span><\/span> Each image in the series captures the effervescent energy of the male models in moments of complicity, play and letting go specific to the summer holidays.<\/span><\/span> The settings chosen, many of them outdoors, reflect the atmosphere of summer days, from the natural light of dusk to the neon lights of the funfairs.<\/span><\/span> Les Grandes Vacances<\/em> seeks to freeze these fleeting moments where carefreeness, camaraderie, self-discovery and first loves punctuated the summer months, transporting the viewer on a nostalgic journey towards their own memories.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
