[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_section][vc_row][vc_column width=”1\/6″][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”2\/3″][vc_column_text]By becoming a patron of the Ni\u00e9pce Prize in 2016, Picto Foundation took a new symbolic step in its continued focus on emerging and established photographers. Run by Gens d’Images, the Ni\u00e9pce Prize had the same objective since its creation more than 60 years ago: to reward each year the work of a professional photographer who has been residing in France for more than 3 years and is under 50 years old.<\/p>\n

By supporting the Ni\u00e9pce Prize, Picto Foundation intends to pursue this aim by allowing the winner to promote their work to collectors and institutions each year. This is the spirit in which Picto Foundation accompanies the winners in the conception, production and edition of artists\u2019 objects.<\/p>\n

Listening to the artist’s needs and ideas, Picto Foundation mobilizes its expertise and partners to create an original object, published in several signed and numbered copies, and assigned to the artist for the promotion of their work.<\/p>\n

For Picto Foundation, it is a question of going beyond mere technical intervention by emphasizing the strength of exchanges, reflections and collective research bringing together various creative actors at the service of the photographer.[\/vc_column_text]
