New documentary approaches<\/h2>\n

Since 1998, Bourse du Talent<\/strong> has been rewarding the talent of young artists in the field of photography by supporting emerging photography every year. This event, organised by Photographie.com <\/strong>and Picto Foundation<\/strong>, has over the years become a key event dedicated to the recognition of emerging talent.<\/p>\n

In 2023, after 25 editions that have brought to light and encouraged numerous photographers who are now well known, the time has come to update the programme with a view to constantly bringing it into line with the proposals and expectations of contemporary photographers.<\/p>\n

Bourse du Talent is now focusing on the new documentary approaches<\/strong> called for by young photographers to continue to tell the story of our world while incorporating the evolution of the forms and constraints of image mediation. At a time when press photography tends to be projected onto screens rather than printed on paper, and when emerging photographers are broadly aligning their projects in a plurality of media and writing styles, Bourse du Talent continues to be a mouthpiece for all these new documentary expressions.<\/p>\n

Bourse du Talent also continues to play its role as a springboard for the professionalization of photographers, to encourage their career paths at the heart of the photography market.<\/p>\n

Each year, two or three Bourses du Talent are awarded to photographers whose projects are based on new documentary approaches, whether it be an artistic approach, science, literature or any other cross-disciplinary aspect at the service of the story, or the use of innovative technologies to accompany the narrative expression. Bourse du Talent is open to photographers of all nationalities, open to all subjects and expressions, and encourages environmentally responsible and engaged approaches.<\/p>\n
