The year 2021 began with the sign of resistance, in the hope of a better future. The last twelve months have been destabilizing, critical, sometimes tragic.
\nSo, we mobilized to think, create, and organize this 4th edition of the Les femmes s\u2019exposent Festival \u2013 overcoming pitfalls where we did not expect them.
\nEstablishing oneself over the long term is more essential than ever to support the already suffocated world of photography. To continue to discover and make visible many talented women photographers. To honor those who still managed to work despite this very particular context.<\/p>\n
In our society under wraps for a year, it is more vital than ever to show the necessity of culture.<\/p>\n
The exhibitions, with their diversity of subjects and photographic writings, will offer a world tour to a wide audience and will provide food for escape, to question, compare, feel…<\/p>\n
In this historic health crisis, the Les femmes s\u2019exposent Festival is adapting while remaining faithful to its initial intention, to alert people to the lack of parity, and always in a simple and friendly atmosphere.<\/p>\n
