Since 1998, the Bourse du Talent has been rewarding emerging photographers. After 26 editions, the program has evolved with the aim of remaining closely aligned with the proposals of contemporary photographers. Today, the Bourse du Talent focuses on the new documentary forms used by photographers to tell the story of our world.<\/h2>\n

Brackish Tears \u00a9\u00a0Santanu Dey \/ Winner Bourse du Talent 2025<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Each year, three Bourse du Talent awards are granted to photographers whose projects develop around new documentary strategies\u2014whether through an approach that flirts with visual arts, science, literature, or any other form of interdisciplinarity serving the narrative, or through the use of new technologies to support storytelling. The Bourse du Talent is open to photographers who have been residents of Europe for at least three years. It welcomes all subjects and forms of expression and encourages environmentally responsible and committed approaches.<\/p>\n

With the support of its partners, the Bourse du Talent continues to fully play its role as a springboard toward the professionalization of photographers, with the aim of supporting their careers in the photography market. In this effort, PixTrakk, Saif, and now Les Filles de la Photo represent important driving forces.<\/p>\n

The Biblioth\u00e8que nationale de France will notably present photographs by the Bourse du Talent laureates alongside other prestigious awards as part of the exhibition La Photographie \u00e0 tout Prix in December.<\/p>\n
