Biography
Arash Khaksari, born in Tehran, Iran, grew up in a multicultural environment. His passion for photography began in 2016, initially as a way to pass the time. He was quickly captivated by the allure of black-and-white imagery and the power of light. Focusing on highlighting the inherent beauty of his subjects, he strives to achieve a sophisticated and refined aesthetic centered around fashion and beauty.
Currently based in Paris, Arash continues his artistic journey in the field of photography. A sense of sobriety emanates from his projects. He aims to highlight natural beauty through surreal imagery.
While everything seemed to point Arash Khaksari toward an artistic career, almost nothing specifically pointed him to the profession of photographer. Just a few years ago, the Iranian artist held a job, but boredom was palpable. A “world too square” for someone who claims to prefer circles, “for the softness they bring to everyday life.”

Symbiose
In this photographic series created for Atmos, I explore the interaction between humans, nature, and the ephemeral through the unique creations of Dasha Tsapenko. Her pieces, entirely made from biodegradable and living materials, redefine fashion as an ever-evolving organism. Each image captures the fusion between the garment and its environment, playing with light, textures, and the temporality of the materials. This is not merely a portrait or a fashion photograph, but a dialogue between the human and the living—a reflection on fashion as an organic extension of the natural world. Through this series, I seek to elevate the fragility and beauty of these ephemeral works born directly from nature—witnesses to a kind of fashion that evolves and vanishes with time. It is a tribute to the harmony between fashion and nature.
