The preservation of the expertise and techniques of photographic reproduction is at the heart of the Picto Laboratory Endowment Fund’s approach. For more than half a century, the laboratory’s craftsmen have been working to give the photographer’s perspective at its best on different media and using various techniques.

It is not a question here of creating a collection of prints, where certain private and institutional collections have long since established important benchmarks and significant bodies of work. In contrast, Picto Foundation endeavours step by step to bring together experiments that propose an original use of photographic reproduction in all its forms.
