96,636,764,160 captures the streets during Fashion Week, where passersby express themselves through clothing. Potié focuses on the audience—spectators, visitors, and pedestrians—staging a mobile street studio in front of shows by Walter Van Beirendonck, Rick Owens, and Maison Valentino. He photographs 96 carefully framed portraits, then prints and slices them into six fragments. Heads, torsos, and legs are recombined into hybrid silhouettes, nicknamed “aliens.” The series examines fashion as a modular visual language, where identity is constructed through garments, posture, and detail. Its title refers to the total number of possible combinations, reflecting the endless mutability of photography in the digital era.
